Headquartered in beautiful Bozeman, Montana, just north of Yellowstone National Park, the Tour de Bozeman is a two day, three stage, timed event featuring stunning mountain climbs, a classic time trial in the Bridger Range and crowd-pleasing match sprints in historic downtown Bozeman.

MAIN STREET SPRINTS

Please make sure you have correct registration/start times!

KID’S RACES
Three kid’s races – a “strider” class, 4-6 year olds and 7-10 year olds – will start at 5:00 p.m. Parents must sign a liability waiver and register for the kid’s race between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m. in First Interstate Bank parking lot. Every kid gets a prize!

TOUR DE BOZEMAN SPRINTS
The main sprints runs 5:30-9:00 p.m. – start in front of Bangtail bike shop; finish in front of 18 Miles to the Border.
Heats will be seeded based on field size. Categories will be staged according to field size, and brackets will be posted at the start area.

Online Registration Closes July 8th at 10:00pm MST

Online registration closes at 10:00 p.m. Folks who register online by the deadline will be entered in a raffle to win a custom, handcrafted road or cyclocross frame from Strong Frames Inc., valued at $1,650. It’s gonna be sweet! We also have awesome trophies this year, in addition to the 5K cash purse. Come on down! Weather is looking great as well.

Tour de Bozeman 2010

Things are gearing up for another stellar Tour de Bozeman in 2010. We’ve moved the race up two weekends on the calendar, to July 10-11. Our title sponsors – Bridger Orthopedic and Sports Medicine and First Interstate Bank are once again on board, along with a host of other local sponsors. A huge thanks to Bridger Orthopedics and First Interstate Bank for helping us put on such a great event! This year, we’re doing a timed event instead of an omnium. Top finishers in the Main Street Sprints will be awarded time bonuses. Please note that we’ve changed the race-day registration schedule from last year. Race-day registration on Saturday, July 10, will close at 9:30 a.m. Riders competing in the sprints must be registered by 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged and much appreciated as it allows us to more easily organize the time trial start times and seed the sprints.

One more thing: Just like last year, riders who pre-register will have a chance to win a custom, handcrafted bike frame from Strong Frames. Strong Frames is a Bozeman-based custom frame company and winner of the 2009 North American Hamdmade Bicycle Show’s award for the best TIG welded frame.

Registration is open!
